As you design:

Keep your eye on the target, but no need to play it safe. I find it likely you’ll have great design ideas I haven’t even considered, so be creative, swing for the fence, have fun! If you want, hide beautiful messages or a piece of you on it somewhere. If you have an amazing idea but don’t know how to draw/execute it, that’s ok, we can figure it out together. Don’t worry about perfection for now, just try to make forward progress - it will probably go through a few iterations anyway. I retain final say on the design so it won’t hurt to check with me frequently, but know I’m not going to be upset with anything you propose. Quite the opposite, I’m already grateful you’re part of the project - thank you!

In everything, follow the Golden Rule - design the gift you would want to give, design the gift you would want to receive.

Take it whatever direction your heart tells you.
